I USED to be really good at writing notes on 3x5 index cards for each set of printed pictures. When my youngest was born (he's 8 1/2 now), I got worse and worse at keeping notes like this. When there are things I really want to remember, I will keep notes in the notes app on my phone. But sometimes, I have forgotten what was important about certain photos. In that case, I also ask my family what details they remember. I wish I had kept up with my 3x5 cards, and I think that this is something I need to start implementing again!

Meridy, if you use a “real” camera, can you share what brand & model that you use??? I just got rid of my favorite camera of all time (don’t take your favorite camera to the beach!!!!!!) so I am looking. Thanks!!! Alice. ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊

HI Alice, my big camera is about 10 years old, but I love it! I use a Canon 6D and the lens I have on it "most" of the time is a Cannon 24-70 f/2.8 . I will say, I shoot in manual mode, in RAW, and edit all of my photos on my computer in Lightroom. I LOVE photography, and started learning how to really use my camera to it's fullest about 15 years ago. Phones have gotten so good at taking photos over the years, that I find myself using my iphone more often in the past 2 years than ever before. But I can still totally tell the difference in my own photos when I use my big camera, so I still pull it out at least a couple times a month and for vacations and holidays.

No problem to ask questions, even if it’s a repeat, it reminds me to mention it again in a video. I use Nations Photo Lab-and I always wait for a sale (they have them frequently).
