I love the fact that they are showing interest in Angolan History . This movie under the right people it can be a huge success. I wish Michael Hirst, Game Of Thrones creators show some interest

Well if the film look expensive then maybe they should have gave it some notification and some publicity because nobody knew about this movie like ever . Every since we have came out you cannot buy the DVD all the way up to this day and it never hit theaters. So maybe that would have gave it enough income to pay for the movie if it was expensive cuz I agree it do look expensive.I'm super pissed about it and I really want to know why it didnt.

Those worthless dogs never did let it hit theater or make the DVD because they don't want us to know our history. They don't want us to even know her .they do not want any black people to understand nothing about the good kings and queens who fought off their wicked ancestors. But the first thing white people who are racist going to yell out is "y'all sold ur own ppl" they don't never yell out about the kings and queens and Warriors and the armies who tore they asses up for 30 and 40 years. Because race is White America still runs this country and I don't want you to know anything like this about your history .so I can believe why this never hit theaters in this was never advertised and you cannot find the DVD anywhere. I know exactly why

She wasn't Queen of Angola. Angola didn't existed. She was Queen of a tribe in the Portuguese Kingdom of Kongo (Angola/Congo).
@isitxgp24553 ай бұрын
She was the queen of a kingdom, not just a tribe. The kingdom of dong was larger than some European countries. The other kingdoms of Angola were to submit to the kingdom of Ndongo

@brunoivan89057 жыл бұрын

Netflix should also correct the 1st Episode of this fake pseudo-documentaries and tell the REAL Story of Queen Nzinga. The Greatest enslaver and slave trader of the Regions of what was known as the Portuguese Kingdom of Kongo (Angola/Congo). She allied with the Portuguese Kingdom and converted to Christianity receiving her Christian Name Ana de Sousa. She already enslaved all tribes around her Kingdom. She sold millions of slaves both to Portuguese Kingdom as to Dutch Kingdom when she betrayed the Portuguese Kingdom for her own interest, wealth and power. Just like Mansa Musa allied with the Umayyad Caliphate, converted to Muslim and enslaved all weeker tribes around Mali in 12th-13th Century. Tell it like it is! Don't create fantasy heroes to satisfy some North Americans that got nothing to do with Africa in ancient times. We Portuguese also don't like to be refered as "White" 'cause we were/are a multiethnic/multicultural society. We don't like that Portuguese Kingdom is refered as "European Empire". We don't have nothing to do with British or Vikings, for example. There was no concepts of continents back then and the Kingdom of Portugal had territories in what later became known as South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. We also don't like to be refered as "Colonizers" when before 15th Century we were also "Colonized" by the Umayyad Caliphate (Muslim Moors) that conquered all North Africa between 1st Century and 15th Century and at its peak invaded and occupied the Iberian Peninsula for 700 years (8th-15th Centuries) and were faught by both Portuguese Kingdom (Independent since 12th Century) and Spanish Kingdom under the Flag of Christian Kingdoms. Every Civilization "Colonized" territories by conquering or just settling in territories that were not their original ones. That's how EVERY Country in the World was created. You can't look at Ancient Civilizations with nowadays concepts of Countries/Continents/ethnicities. It's just not appliable whatsoever. We demand reparations from Netflix and a corner in Philadelphia named after Jada Pinkett ❤🇵🇹
