Tetsuya Naito ascended to something more...and gather an army of his friends from the past. Together, they became the most competitive and loyal group in New Japan history: *L.I.J.* P.S: This last phrase got shattered by Evil being a no good backstabbing fiend!!!

Ehh I have to say Suzuki-gun. I can't remember the last time anyone betrayed Suzuki-gun, or a time when someone was kicked out. Sure, people left to pursue other goals, but they only left the company. As far as we know, guys like Lance Archer and DBS Jr. were still on good terms with the group. Plus, Taichi said during a backstage comment that the guys in Suzuki-gun aren't friends, they're simply guys that work together, and that they were constantly competing with each other, even going as far to say they'd go after each other if it meant personal glory. I know that last point somewhat contradicts my first point, but the fact that they're willing to go after each other and still remain a faction speaks volumes. Tbh, I think Suzuki either scared or beat the loyalty into them haha. So I have to disagree that L.I.J are the most loyal and competitive faction, and that it was actually Suzuki-gun.

@@SanadaSanadaSanada I would like to mention this comment was done before Evil betrayed L.I.J and paired himself with BC. So now, your last phrases show how great Suzuki-Gun was over 11 years. The ex-members left for other paths while the ones in the group beat the stuff out of each other in tournaments or tag team clashes. Suzuki was a real boss with a "no nonsense" attitude. Now, they each get to do their own thing in New Japan Pro-Wrestling in 2023.

@@JaimeD. oh shoot sorry I didn't even notice hahah. Yeah, I'd put 2019 L.I.J on par with Suzuki-gun in terms of loyalty, but it's also interesting how their views on leadership were very different, which is likely what led to EVIL's betrayal. In Suzuki-gun, you knew who the boss was. No questions asked, whereas in L.I.J, Naito said in one of Hiromu Takahashi's YT videos that there was no set leader and that they were all equal. The problem there is that all the members of L.I.J are very hungry, and are willing to do whatever it takes to win, especially EVIL, and with no leader to keep those guys in line, it was inevitably gonna fall apart, whereas with Suzuki-gun, you had to be batshit crazy to go against Suzuki lmao.
