Out here you sure have to know where you're going and have to be sure you're getting on the right trolley or L- Subway train.

I first started riding Septa, from the 69th St. Terminal, when I was a toddler along with my grandmother. I've spent a lot of time there, in my lifetime, especially when I used to ride the trolley to get to junior high school, to go shopping, meet friends, etc.

In the first grouping of buses, you show the 109 in a blue circle, the others in gray. (I see the trolleys are in green.) What's that signify?
@wolfythewolf44572 жыл бұрын
The colors signify frequency. Blue is every 15 minutes or less, dark red is 30 minutes or less, and grey is 60 minutes or less. The Trolleys, Market Frankford Line, Broad Street Line, and Norristown High Speed Line are color coded with Green, (darker) Blue, Orange, and Purple respectively. Hope I cleared that up!

you left out Route 120 . it operates from 69th street too
@DashTransit5 жыл бұрын
That route was not operating when I was there.
@marcuscerdan88965 жыл бұрын
it's there.. trust me. It operates from there to Cheney University It operates on the M to F schedule

@@marcuscerdan8896 There are several gaps in route 120 service, one exists between 9:18am and 10:55am, which is around when this segment was recorded. I tend not to reference routes that are not operating at the time of recording, as an attempt to keep videos from being confusing. I previously mentioned route 551 serving a spot in an NJ Transit Walter Rand Transportation Center video and several comments were about how the 551 was not in the video itself. So it's like I make things simple now and don't reference what isn't there.

I'm not getting smart.im helping you.out. I lived in Philly for a long time. I rode SEPTA for years. know the routes by heart. study each and every one. So I know what operates from where to its destination. I'm not underestimate you. I'm helping you out. No need to thank me.

@@marcuscerdan8896 My hero lol No I understand, that's why I made sure to keep things professional. But yes, when I say it wasn't operating when I was there, I mean at the time I was at the location recording. I tend not to linger around too long with a camera for video because it raises questions (plus it was HOT). Maybe when the weather calms down, I'll revisit this spot and make sure to get the 120 involved (the 120, being a heck of a lot more frequent during the school hours than during the Summer time)

MAKE sure you do your homework before you use this station. took me years to discover that you didnt have to leave downtown phily near the mall to get to City line ave. i used to always just go to 69 th street on the el .then take another bus to get to where the Hilton hotel is, finally found out that you can get the number 10 bus at 10th and market and the express takes you up there in about 20 minutes. no more of those winding streets around st, joseph or the school for the blind. philly has great bus transportation, but you have to do your homework
@wolfythewolf44572 жыл бұрын
10 bus? I think you mistyped. The 10 is a subway-surface trolley. you can connect to the 65 from 63rd and Malvern, where the 10 and 46 terminate, and that bus can take you along City Line, but I haven't heard of a bus that can take you to City line in 20 min. the 44 or 9 maybe? Those are the only ones I can think of from market street, correct me if I'm wrong.
