@Harveycartoonlvr11. There are 5 marker lights like you said. White = Local (Makes All Stops) Yellow = Ridge Spur Line (Branches off to another location) (2 Car Train) Green = Express Line (Stops at Various Locations, but does not complete the locals route.) Blue = Another Express Line used for Special Events, such as the Phillies Game, Eagles Game.(This Train will make various stops along the route.) Red = (Symbolizes the the train is either in park, or it is the very last car of the train..

I rode on a set of these trains today that were all silver on the way home from ROman Catholic High school. Its pretty cool.

Correction. The Local Train makes stops on the local route, but does not interfere, or route with the Yellow, Ridge Spur Line. They are 2 totally separate routes..

@MrsGeekside SEPTA plans to re-decal the Kawasaki Cars to be silver instead of orange. The set featured in this video is the first to undergo this change.

@Hotters70652XTY The current MFL cars are going to be here for a LONG time...

@LoganMulti12 Sorry for my late reply. SEPTA wants these cars to be silver because it's less of a hassle to remove graffiti from the body and then leaving the silver exposed vs removing graffiti (which ultimately scratches off the paint) and then repainting the bodies. Blame society pretty much lol

I'd like to think that Kawasaki took a page from the Budd Company playbook with the marker lights, as really the only tranist agency that uses that feature now is Chicago's CTA. The only difference is that SEPTA has five lights on each side, while CTA has four. I think the blue color lights are for special train runs...perhaps you know what they mean and the destinations...could you elaborate on this for me? :)

@njt5329 i remember when they had one car all silver car 666 ..which is a odd number to give ..because in the inside off the car they got the numbers in red on one end and black on the other.......i think they look way better all silver with orange on the top ...ill paint one of my model BSL cars like this ....

@R42Vtrain1029 On the buses, they like putting Advertisements everywhere, on the trains... we have way too many vandals... in both cases... save a few dollars her and there

Besides fern rock why do they make this train stay in underground thur out the whole ride why cant it go outside in the open like the market frankford line???????? and the Cars look awsome.
@jaygatling197712 жыл бұрын
That's a vast improvement from the orange trains but the car models are still ugliest in the country. Market-Frankford cars look better.
