Exactly man, he gives spotlight to people that are really fucking good but also are doing their own thing. Different styles can be seen on his channel. I am happy he was able to open up his comment section again. Cuz he received so much hate and had to close it for a while. He is a great skateboarder himself. But he started to broadcast others and that is what life has become eventually. Such a great soul. I love this man for giving controversial and text book skaters a playform ❤ he knows greatness when he sees it. No matter if the masses agrees.

A long time coming. Nigel is such a legend and he is helping a lot of talented skateboarders get recognized on his channel, and now some of them are on Powell! I discovered John Bradford through Nigel’s channel. It’s really cool to see someone’s talent grow exponentially in skateboarding. Nigel is a total class act.

The Powell Peralta marketing approach is 1000% effective. I religiously watch every video uploaded from that ecosystem, and when they talked me back into skateboarding after 15 years, that Andy Anderson board was the first thing I bought. Completely changed my life for the better. Thank you guys.

Nigel put up my first full length video “Hullabaloo” on his channel in 2012… Florida video with no big name skaters at the time, although Jamie Foy has a part and went on to be known. Anyway, he was down to post it, and for me at the time that meant a lot. Respect to him for that 🫡

The O.G KZbin guru 💪💪💪 and skate site was my library, thank you! Here's my theory -one factor reasoning why P. Rod was a wholesome skater meaning all sponsors loved him is because of what a positive & disciplined mentor Nigel was, it does shows on how Nigel keeps away from having a "bad image" and he focus more on helping try looking what good/positive any situation brings to him. Also you can feel+see how genuine he is on the clips/videos showcasing. or maybe vice versa. He is somehow the present version of stacy+powell and he really fits with powell, very professional & proper

Damn I remember finding his videos when youtube was just a baby and you searched "skateboarding" and got a result of like 10 videos, the skatelab clips, Paul's park and the 8=D and sk8site stuff, he's *_the_* OG. An episode with him and the Rodfather together would be amazing Edit: Btw the best calf stretch in my experience is to just use your board, step on it and just tilt it towards you, much easier that doing it against a wall since you can lean over it to get a better stretch
