In 1976 December, my brother's send off party he left Nigeria in January of 1977 to the USA can still see my dad dancing to this tune you can o imagine how sorry I was thinking he is going far fara away, we are lucky he built us up financially

This is one of my favourite high life albums of all time. My dad used to play it in the good old days when I was just six. The sweet memories of it has remained with me ever since. Now as a musician myself, I appreciate it more because I can virtually feel every single note from every piece of musical instrument in the recording. The Rhythm is something else. The trumpeter and lead guitarist are outstanding. In general, the musicianship of the entire band is just awesome.

These is one of my best songs of all time "CHUKWU EMEKA OMAMBALA" I love this track to the extent that I played it repeatedly each time i get into my vehicle and home for over one month. And I am sure I will never get tired of listening to it anytime and any place......To his blessed memory CHIEF OSITA OSADEBE. Continue to rest in peace.

Point of correction bro. It wasn't stolen. Osadebe and some of his lead instrumentalist had money sharing agreement issue and it wasn't resolved,then Vincent Okoroego of the renown Ikenga super stars and other band members opted out of osadebes band and formed theirs there in London and released this album they co-wrote and produced together with Osadebe, So this music property is owned by Ikenga super stars of Africa and not Osadebe.

@@slimdok3804. Bro it was stolen. Osadebe even addressed the issue in one of his albums and referred to Ikenfa as oke (rat) for rats do not keep whatever is entrusted to to them ("amazim ni ibu oke, oke ada echedo ife fa ye nye chedo")

@@slimdok3804: Yes Osadebe was duped by His band members after London tour. They replaced osadebe’s name in this album released in London with Ikenga super star behind his back. By the time Osadebe realized what was going on it was too late.
