NKJV Compact Single Column Reference Bible

I have wanted the Compact version of this Bible but could not justify the cost, but then I found it at my local Ollies for $26.99. I purchased it, and I am so impressed with this Bible.

I love everything about this Bible, but I compared it to my other Bibles that have a nine point font and this is smaller. The references are hard to read as well. I struggled because I love the way it looks and feels but I will be returning it. This may not be an issue for some! If your eyes are better than mine, you will love it… The best selling book of all time about the dude whose name is above every other name, and completely changed my life Blessings🙏🙏🙏❤️✝️

i noticed that the NKJV Preface has unnecessary small print... otherwise, this is an excellent edition from Nelson.... :)

this nkjv is awesome. I'm really thinking about getting one. The translation feels fairly similar to the one I'm use to in french. Which one would you recommend the most between the compact and the normal reference? The new blue version looks gorgeous and very affordable compare to a humble lamb.

Would you say this is the most "readable" compact? Im so trying to find a good portable NKJV to hold and preach/teach from in jails and ministries where the Bible needs to be small - but my eyes dont work so good no more LOL.

This review is not helpful. I just bought 2 of these based on reviews like this one. Minimal ghosting is crap. I see the text of the page I’m reading plus the text on the other side of the page, the next page and the text on the other side of it. That is the page I’m reading plus three pages of bleed through. Yes I said bleed through. Ghosting is what we had ten years ago. This is another level. I do not understand how the quality standards have gotten so low except maybe that reviewers praise it anyway. And it’s not just Thomas Nelson, crossway is producing inferior products so is lockman. I’ve used the same esv for the last ten years. Recently the cover and binding deteriorated to the point that I wanted a new one which started me on my journey of disappointing quality standards. It’s aggravating. I wish they would have cut costs on the covers not the print and paper. I can always have a good block rebound.

@@BibleBuyingGuide no, just received my new copy, this one from Amazon, the two I had ordered were from Christian books website. No change. Either you received a special copy for the purpose of the review or more than likely you review so many copies you don’t have the shock of quality degradation. I received an email from christianbooks because of the review I left. He apologized about the quality then went on to agree that he himself noticed how the bleed through is “worse than ever” with the Bible’s they are currently selling.
