OMG I was 5 years old, I vaguely remember this, but NKOTB was my favorite group back then.

I do believe the halftime show was broadcast live in Canada...unless if they did a special report of their own.

Wow ... just wow. Not sure how to feel about this one even with as much as I love the guys.

ABC, who broadcast Super Bowl XXV ran a special news report w/ Peter Jennings about the Gulf War. The NKOTB performance was instead, scheduled to air after the game (even though most affiliates went to "Davis Rules" instead).

Never seen this performance either. Grrreeaattt! :-D
@mst3kanita13 жыл бұрын
@smokinat you might not remember it because it wasn't shown live in most of America because the Persian Gulf war had just started a few days prior, and most stations went to a report of the war instead of showing halftime.

God I love Jordan's voice one of the best!

@mst3kanita You are correct. But ABC Sports did have a heart. After the Super Bowl & Davis Rules (a sitcom), ABC did show the non-cable viewers the remaining parts of that halftime show, including NKOTB. It was seen around 10:40 EST (9:40 Central).

Yes, they do. The Superbowl is broadcast in over 100 countries. It's a pretty big deal.

I was turning 7 at the time and I probably wouldn't go to Donnie too. as much as I love Donnie now, he would have scared me when I was a kid :)

What a change in Superbowl shows between then (90's Disney, kids, and the New Kids) and now (2000's Justin exposing Janet's breast) LOL... I never knew NKOTB did this and I love them and Superbowl...
@SuperYourmom213 жыл бұрын
lol I love how none of the kids run to Donnie. He's like no one wants to sit on my lap. lmao I guess I would be scared of him also and I was like little when this was out.
