Punkanelly Lovejoy Why would you even click on this if you hate her? There’s no need to insult other people’s favourite artists, just because you don’t like her doesn’t mean others can’t
@punkanellylovejoy7024 жыл бұрын
@@HistoryRepeatingTMU She was always one of my favorite artists (I loved the Supremes) until I learned what she's really like offstage (from the people who knew her and knew her well). I was hardly "insulted" to learn the ugly truth about her (surprised, shocked and angered, but far from insulted). On the contrary, I felt glad and enlightened to know that I was no longer a fool who went around adoring a completely manipulated and false image. It's pretty hard to feel insulted once you accept the truth for what it is. And the simple truth is that, the person you see onstage is NOT the person that people have been subjected to offstage. You ask why do I come to her videos and say hateful things about her? Simple answer: Cause I remember Mary Wilson's book as if it were yesterday. It's because I have an EXCELLENT memory. THAT'S why I come to the comment section of her videos. It's something that is SO instinctual. Some people get pissed off when they wake up to the truth that they've been had, tricked and pretty much defrauded by someone selling a fake image. I guess it's just my way of taking back all the good words that I ever gave to an image that wasn't even the real person. Well I do hope that I've satisfied your complete bewilderment and curiosity as to why I would come to a video and leave comments about someone I obviously find vile and despicable. Enjoy the image of your "idol/icon". To keep from feeling "insulted" by my comments about her, simply overlook it as the rantings and ravings of someone who is jealous of Diana Ross (lmao). That seems to do the trick for many of her other fans who have completely bought (hook line and sinker) her stage "image".

@@dreyfus1021 me? Phoney? Are you trying to say that I'm the sort of person who needs to make 20 costume changes and bring a yacht or helicopter onstage, (in order to impress the dull imaginations of people who are obviously easily over awed by glamour and excess)in order to make up for my lack of enough stage presence? Well youre wrong. And besides, I thought absolutely nothing of her leaving in a helicopter when that's something celebrities do everyday. I thought nothing of it until I started reading the comments here of how wonderful her exit was. Granted, it was a pretty bold move to sit at the edge in the doorway of the helicopter (despite being strapped in), but very few of these comments even referenced her daringness to sit on the edge. All they could see was the damn helicopter. And y'all are all on here going goo-goo gaa-gaa over it. Yes I know miss Ross will be Ross and will do anything to remain the centre of attention. She's all about self, to the exclusion of anyone and anything else that might stand in her way and dare to shine and soak up a little bit of the attention, that if not directed at her, would otherwise crush her fragile sense of self-worth. I hope and pray that miss Ross is not as insecure as she used to be. I would like to believe that she has grown and matured some since her younger days as The Wicked Witch of Motown. I was a huge fan of hers since the days of Motown. But once I discovered what a dumb adoring fool id been(buying her angelic-like stage image hook line and sinker) and that in real life she was completely the opposite, I couldn't stand her anymore, although i still listen to some of her solo records and alot of her Supremes stuff but personally I think sh is not a decent person. And yes I say horrible things about her but that's mainly when I hear these delusional fans praising her as something she's not. And I get especially pissed when I see her fans trying to make her victims out to be liars. Well anyway I just had to write this to let you know that I am not jealous of Diana Ross. That's the first thing that comes from y'alls mouths: "you're just jealous". Well it's just too bad that some of you are exactly like trump followers and think that Diane Ernestine Ross is being unfairly picked on and can do no wrong. Not that I'm any better than she is.....like hell I ain't: Ten times better I would say. Oh my god! I never saw this Performance! How on earth was she able to perform a whole show, knowing that in a few minutes a helicopter would take her up and not only stepping into the heli but sitting at the edge of the open heli, unbelievable!!! Already being lifted that high above the ground during the choreography was spectacular! And then performing with such grace, hitting the right notes, DIVA your name is Diana Ross, and it is a very hard earned title...

I love this for so many reasons. I love how the crowd goes wild over balloons.I love how hokey her costumes were. I love how locals are part of the act. They looked so happy to be there. I love how she enjoys heights. I don't share that with her AT ALL. I even loved how messy and uneven the show was at times. It looked like a party.

She did really opened the doors for black women in the industry and not Beyonce like Billboard says in an article. DIANA is a legend 👑
@brixandblooms2 жыл бұрын
Perhaps because Beyonce's entire band is all Black women. Most of Beyonce's dancers are Black as well. She also supported by requesting a Black photographer for the Vogue cover. THAT'S opening doors.
