It's been this long and the man hasn't guessed cinnamon or canned tuna and I feel like I'm losing my mind. Think of the desserts! Edit: how dare you not consider cinnamon. It is a base component of everything we bake with any remote amount of baking spice. There's no cardamom or nutmeg in there without cinnamon. A smaller number of people also use it for main dishes sometimes. Cinnamon rolls are a staple. Similar reasoning for vanilla. Can't have the pancake mix without vanilla.
