Hmm would it not be better to shove to stack JJ KK with a heart than getting value from KK without a heart by using this sizing ? Absolutely great content by the way as always, keep it up ☺️!
@YolanCohenPoker
@YolanCohenPoker 4 ай бұрын
Retrospectively I think he will bet turn super often KK. His range is mostly AA KK no h and JJ one heart. I think i can do slightly more because I have some KJ KT Jt in my perceived bluff region. Turn size should also be a bit bigger. This hand is extremely complicated because the Ev taking in account range perception we have might change super fast because the range is super narrow

I had (got beaten twice this year) a IAM world record memory for 2 years. I have train my memory and I also have abilities regarding this cognitive ability. I can watch a sim and memorize the better picture in few sec, and I will know it for at least few weeks If i dont check the sim again and sometimes I dont even need. It allows me not to work that much on my gto game

Hi Yo, great video! U play extremely exploitatively vs fish which I like. But in the AA hand where u bet tiny on river w nutflush: Don't you think you have to be extremely certain about your assumptions on his reactions to various bet sizings of you to make this tiny bet more EV than just jam? Can you even be so sure about how he reacts to your sizing to make this a better play than just jam?
@YolanCohenPoker
@YolanCohenPoker 4 ай бұрын
I agree this hand can be played differently depending on the assumption we make. I think now his range is extremely oriented toward gg as AA KK no h one h are diluted in the B turn here or bigger bet flop. As I said in an other comment even it doesn't look like it this hand is extremely complicated. Because our assumption of what his range might cost us huge EV loss as Id I know his range is way more KK I don't make the same sizing as if it's TT-JJ. I think jam is not an option and this guy specifically is absolutely never calling a Jam with Kh, as he knows basics of the game. Against some str8 forward recs, this will be a mandatory jam, but no here.

8:17 I’m confused about kjhh’s play on the river. I mean blocking does targeting some 8x tt,99 but the problem is if the villian turn these hands into bluff it’s really hard for you to defend enough right.if u check on the river, these hand will just mainly check back, but if u bet folding kjhh, u prob lose some ev against a bluff raise
@YolanCohenPoker
@YolanCohenPoker 4 ай бұрын
If he raises here I go AI anyway. It's part of my strategy, he should check flush often and I don't think players will find enough x with flushes, so I expect him not to defend enough vs min bet and 3BAI so I will consistently over do it. In theory it's too thin as I shown but I expect Jx to bet too much flop, so for me with have enough EQ with this hand to select the 10% pot bet.
@jackxu886
@jackxu886 4 ай бұрын
is that because the opponent is a fish so u dont expect too many raise bluffs from his weak region so u can comfortably bet 10%-fold the river?@@YolanCohenPoker
@jackxu886
@jackxu886 4 ай бұрын
oh sorry, u already mentioned u are going to min bet and 3bet the river because the opponent dont have enough flush in this spot, and i agree with this if the line was supposed to be bet 10%-3bet then the river 10% make a lot of sense because the opponent doesnt really have a lot of flush to def thank you a lot yolan

Thanks for the video. I see you also playing 9max tables. Is the rake beatable, because if I am correct the rake cap at 9max is higher than 6 max (maybe not at 5KNL)
@YolanCohenPoker
@YolanCohenPoker 4 ай бұрын
I mostly play 1kNL/5KNL on other sites/apps. The rake is high, competition is tougher, I only play there from time to time. Tbh only 5knl at the moment for me a bit too high for me and im not ready to handle big swings emotionally. Im more confortable mixing stakes and have 1k/2k as my main stake and playing 5k when it runs on some of my sites. Maybe in few years when my roll wil be bigger. Also HS content is not really possible on other sites because of the soft design (i will post NL1k-NL4k hands review but cant share live play).

@YolanCohenPoker
@YolanCohenPoker 4 ай бұрын
You can jam if you think he doesn't have enough bluffs, cause some river cost you money as he will start checking some of the worst run outs. As I said post edited, this jam turn against this guy is a clear mistake and the biggest of the session. I just wanted to stick to theory but tbh a highstakes regs here should always bluff AQ aJ as they want me to fold the low sc region, so this spot might be bluff even more than theory. And even if it's not,the case, the EV in this case for the call is not that far from the raise

Depends the line up. I would say when they are 2 Chinese guys coming out from absolutely nowhere who play better than Zaz, T Duth etc you can ask yourself question. Funny that nobody sus them to cheat. In chess when you see players sky rocketing the ranking they are super often considered as potential cheaters, but in Poker it shocks nobody unknown come and play really well. Anyway, I don't want to accuse anybody without any proofs, but my point of vue changes a lot these past months. The fact that you could see equity on the most secure site in the world is mind blowing for me. I'm now extremely sceptical when I play and I think everybody should be careful, without of course getting paranoid
