NMC Artist in Residence: Mattmac - “Break Me Down”

Blind music producer and recording artist Mattmac performs his track, “Break Me Down,” with Question ATL on drums, and songwriter-producer Jacky Levare on guitar. The song offers a message of hope and resilience, inspiring listeners to appreciate the journey despite the obstacles that may come along the way.
In 2023, Mattmac was the winner of CBC Music’s Searchlight contest. Among other prizes, he was awarded a week-long residency at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, in Calgary.
