NME is in my top 3 loopers. You have to watch him and Rythmind in the final of this GBB. I completely understand why he didn't win the competition that year, but god damn do I still hold the belief that he was for sure the more creative and artistic out of the two. His final round in that battle is just pure creative genius.

@@goatedgomo There was some previous controversy, sexual assaults from the competitors, terrible contracts for the competitors(basically 0 revenue for them, when swissbeatbox gets milions and milions of views every month from their beatboxing. Many beatboxers are struggling to make ends meet/cover travel cost to the GBB and GBB didn't seem to be really helpful at times.

A comment for Anthony about the poly tonal comment: he’s one of the only competitors to use a directional microscope with no filters or eq on the mic. So most of it was pure pitch-control + some modulation on the loop station device. That’s why he won 😂

The effect that you're talking about is called vocoder. It outputs the sound made with the microphone mixed with a track's sound. In this case is the armony track that he recorded initially. The fact that was similar to polyphonic sound is caused by his vocal pitch that was perfectly the same of the track ahahaha so good work NME (and Brez that smashed too!)
