I don't know, guys, other than being obviously overweight, he seems pretty well and healthy to me. You shouldn't be so negative. He's only 65, and average life expectancy in the US is over 80.

Even if he is writing, it may not be for the Winds of Winter, I heard that his next Ice and Fire story is going to be about Daemon Targaryen (from the Princess and the Queen story.) It's going to be in another anthology book called Rogues

This is coming out in June, and theres the World of Ice and Fire coming in the Fall. I'd say WoW maybe out next year.

I don't know if this is intrinsic to this interview, but what is the point of having, what I regard as, heavy sexual scenes in a movie, or an HBO show, obliviously this is pointing to GOT, nonetheless, Is this do to "realism?" or is for more attraction to the movie/show? I still watch GOT, even with the "soft-porno" vibe, but I don't quite understand it..

i know im been really selfish here, but im actually scared that he wont be able to finish book 7, he doesnt seem so healthy to me. George i love you man, but please dont leave your work unfinished, you owe it to your fans and to yourself to finish this story. I share your fear! I really hope he can see his legacy of fantasy writing to a closure! That being said, thanks to the HBO series, he let the producers in on the great lines of the completion of his story, if ever his health were to falter. So, worse case scenario, we will know how the story ends, although not in all its glory.
