NMIXX is rolling the dice, gamble whether people will be on board or not, nevertheless they are still true to their mix pop. While O.O is like a trailer to their musicology, Dice is like the opening of their path for me. That beat drop in Dice really slaps! and Cool makes it so it won't be compared to Dice since both have different style, that makes the best b-side where only 2 songs exist. It doesnt collapse one another but compliment it like you said.

I think the song dice represents them and their concept. Dice are unpredictable, you play the game without knowing what's to come. Just like the lyrics NMIXX are unpredictable but they're assuring us to not worry and just come on board. "Hold on tight vamos amigos" "Nope to thinking, come on pick it" "Now open it up, what's a surprise" "Surfing over that sky" you don't surf at the sky but they do things that we don't imagine "Flying through the ocean" don't let them know your next move, that's what makes them unique. full of surprises like a dice "Big wave big wave, don't run away" usually when people see big wave they try to run away but NMIXX is saying that we shouldn't run and face it. Use the waves and ride it, just like what they did on O.O. It received a lot of backlash and negative comments but instead of running away from it, they ride it and used it to come back stronger. "Dribble away the trouble smooth and pass it" "Expect the unexpected, would you go with me?" I love both songs so much. I too love experimental music so of course I really enjoy the places this song goes. I know experimental music has been in Kpop a long time, but if we are talking 4th gen gg’s..when you say experimental music, you think of Aespa and you think of Nmixx right away. But what’s crazy is that these groups do not sound anything alike. In fact the only thing Aespa and Nmixx have in common is great vocals and deadly members. And if we are talking strictly vocals … Nmixx and Aespa have the best vocals in 4th gen gg’s. But I digress… I love this concept I love the sound in this comeback. The girls slay!!
