You should have at least let us know the tribe, what part of Nigeria such tribe or tribes is located. I know in some igbo culture, this is applicable but, I don't think it is enforced like this.

Even in my village in IMO State gizzards belong to the elders... I can never tried to eat gizzard while an elder person there... I must give to most elderly person...we are already use it.. I only eat when am in city my my kids...
