See you made creme patisserie for the filling, don’t they use a cold mix custard powder in bakeries? Which is more yellow
@crazybaker12 жыл бұрын
Yes of course but this is for home Bakers, most Bakers custard mix isn't yellow now because of e numbers, remember that the government has been making Bakery's and food manufacturers cut down on sugar and salt, colors, and of course improver, 😉 it's great for all but the costs we all end up paying for 🤣🤣

How much vanilla would you suggest please?

Best way is to add a little amount, then taste testing it, so basely you get it how you like it, may small spoon to start with 🙂 enjoy

What can I substitute for eggs?
@crazybaker15 ай бұрын
Both yogurt and buttermilk are good substitutes for eggs. It's best to use plain yogurt, as flavored and sweetened varieties may alter the flavor of your recipe. You can use 1/4 cup (60 g) of yogurt or buttermilk for each egg that needs to be replaced. This substitution works best for muffins, cakes, and cupcakes
