I think the referee’s need to be investigated for this game by independent investigation firm, just ask the ESPN game announcers. Last time I saw something like this it was the semi final game between Caitlin Clark vs South Carolina.

Right like how can you call an offensive foul on a player getting position in the post , no pushing off or nothing just using her body

Utah has a great squad. I am a huge fan of Alissa Pili and her game will transition to the next level very well. Much respect to the Utes....Go Gamecocks!

This could've been a great win for Utah but you can't miss those open layups against SC. It's like you gotta play a perfect game against them. Congrats to the gamecocks.

Cardosa needs to be more aggressive.

U didn’t see her get those unnecessary foul calls? She was playing cautiously because the refs were gunnin for her.

@superfantastic8819 You didn't see pili scoring on her? Not just this game either. She needs to be more aggressive as I said.
@dodilau985011 ай бұрын
I agree...she needs to be aggressive yet calm to stay out of foul trouble. Pili isn't your normal post...shes versatile, strong and had a field day with SC post players.

What this tells me is that SC has no D. Hidalgo dropped 30plus on them and now Pili. They will struggle against teams with multiple big gamers.

@@jeromesmith3968 Nothing like being proven WRONG! I think THIS team was better than both her natty teams. I thought Dawn may have been a little short sighted AGAIN by looking at her two previous years when she took TWO poor shooting squads to the tournaments. To the contrary Dawn assembled an amazing team where her bench could make it to the tournaments all by themselves. Hats off to Dawn and SC. They ran my team(Wolfpack) off the floor(they need some bigs bad). I don’t mind being wrong at all. It’s called growth. It’s called life.

@@jeromesmith3968 I thought perhaps the greatest college teams where Jordans Tarhills and that UNLV team with Augmond, Johnson, Anthony. But THIS SC squad has just WAY too many weapons. Last year how could you compete against them when they had talent like Watkins and Fulwiley coming off the bench!!! You can't scout against a team like that. If Fulwiley starts this year Juju and Hidalgo might have to take a backseat.

It's like the opposite of what happens with Zach Eddy he gets fouled all the time and ut doesn't get called because of his size Cardoso is bigger so shes getting called for this fouls.... officiating is subjective its just a part of sports
