Dawn has had great teams - it’s not wild to say this is the best team she has had - guard play is outstanding and defense is elite - beating the breaks of Geno is so wonderful pass the torch

Dawn fan but not a Gcock fan. This team is omni dimensional. All the guards are completely different and make them difficult to defend. The only TEAM I see giving them difficulty is Colorado because of their triple attack with Sherrod, Vonleh and Formann. I would only mention VT having an outside chance because they play with no fear. Amoore just doesn’t give AF. I didn’t mention Juju and USC because SC has already handled big games by Pili and Hidalgo.

SC is the most complete team in the country. The only team I can see beating them is themselves. If UCONN was fully healthy I believe they would be right there with SC. But if Poa Poa gets a little more aggressive in hunting her shots and stay confident, it is a wrap.

The huskies already came into this game with a fear mentality. During the first quarter Sc was playing UConn not as a top 20 team but rather an unranked team , which resulted to a mismatch. Lots of fans saw their loss coming, but they’ve should’ve known better than to play South Carolina scared. I saw lots of players on SC take shots like never before. This was not a “tough matchup” for Sc. Not even close. I’m a husky fan but I blame the coaches for not solving their size issue early on. This game wasn’t even about “who wanted it more” it was more so of “who could keep up best” . Watching the girls run up and down the court on empty buckets was sad to watch. But that’s the game of Basketball. I won’t be suprised if UConn doesn’t make it to the final four during the NCAA tournament. It’s just too much pressure on Paige Bueckers, they need five of her not just one. I’m beyond saddened that Geno let his girls settle for the mediocre wins they’ve had against un ranked teams whilst still boasting about his program. He needs to figure out his posts situation, and stop relying so much on Aaliyah. She can do so much but it takes more than one to win a team like SC. UConn has no depth, and that alone is enough to ruin a whole team. Dawn Stayley bit on that depth issue, and buried UConn. Their program needs to stop recruiting young athletes without fully having their boxes checked. All the girls on their bench are the results of unused potential. And I blame the coaches. T

love watching uconn girls play,and i know they have alot of points on the injured list. but the game has gone past the guard offense. for sure uconns injured player will help when the get back next year. but the game has evolved into a power game. uconn for what ever reason does not recruit centers . i dont see another championship for them until the get some size and muscle.

First and foremost I am a UConn women basketball fan - love them win or loose - I have a few points to cover - it appears big games put our players into a tight position - can’t shoot - can’t defend - can’t make good decisions - can’t make plays - a lot of can nots there for a fan - Coach really analysis the Notre Dame & South Carolina games - really, from and outside perspective, analysis what happens during the complete game - take the role of an opponent scouting you - if those things do not come evident then I am really off base - if they do then how they are preparing mentally for big games needs to change - really look at why really good teams can score easily - why they are able to shoot threes without being confronted (sagging defense - spacing) - why are our three point shooters put on the sideline (are they taught to move and shoot in one motion or are they able to practice without being confronted) - why can an opponent just put presser on our offense and it breaks down - these are just a few things - hope you read these things - GO UCONN - get ready for the next one because it is coming!!!!!!
