Good information you give...Many thanx! Wish to know if i am practicing daily one hour on my Alto Saxophone then how frequently i should clean the pads?..kindly advice. :)

I was having this problem with my bis key and sometimes one other key on my soprano sax. I used the dollar bill and cleaning cloth. Then, I read somewhere that sugars and other debris left over in your mouth from eating or drinking, even drinking a diet soda, are what makes them stick. I started rinsing my mouth out a few times with a glass of fresh water before beginning to play. Since I started doing that, I haven't had any problems with sticky keys.

Yup, it's true! Sugary drinks and food is what can make the pads stick.

I have heard that it’s a good idea to brush your teeth before playing. But many mouthwash products have sweeteners so you should just rinse with water.
