Wow, what a selection, and not a kettle in sight! 69002 “Bob Tiller” was working so hard on its second appearance, climbing North from the dive-under, that it sounded almost as impressive as a 56 (sacrilege!). When it next appeared, the distinctive tones from this loco made me wonder if Driver Mike “the Condor” Wylie could now be working for GBRf.

Thank you Mike. The 69 often gets held there in the afternoon waiting for a unit to pass on the old route. It certainly gives it a workout.

Very good video. My last photos from Spalding were on 21 August (nothing since then). The only times I went to Werrington was on 7 January 2020; 2 March 2020; 9 October 2020 My fault for not going since then. All photos on Flickr. Should be at Spalding for the diverts in October.

at Twenty Five min, there are some blue tankers can anyone tell me what they are exactly as they look a bit different, I wonder if they are for something else? 🌞🌞🤪🤪😀😀
@werringtonjunctionАй бұрын
That is the Rail Head Treatment Train (RHTT). It blasts high pressure water on to the top of the rails to clear away leaves and residue from crushed leaves to improve traction and brakeing of locomotives. It runs from October to around December, there are many of these trains running all over the country at this time of the year.
