When I started playing back in '85, I bought Back To Basics and The Next Step on VHS. I won't lie.. Dave Weckl nearly put me off drums. He's THAT good. What an absolute master of his craft he is..

Decades of rhythmic elaborations all condened in one man! Not an easy task! Dave is THE phrasing master! Also, I truly prefer THIS Weckl istead of nowadays, creative, tasty as well as powerfull and effective.

フロタムを左にセットしてたんだ。スティーブスミスもだけど。オマーハキムなら浅胴のスネア。当たり前だけど、どれだけ熱いプレイで盛り上がってきてもリムに誤打しない。正確なストローク。流石。
