I love cards that lend themselves to being displayed without falling over, and these are lovely. Thanks for sharing, Jan!

Many thanksi, Deskjockie49. I totally agree with you. Half the pleasure of receiving greeting cards is to see them displayed on a shelf! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.

Jan I really enjoy watching you demonstrate how to make these by fold style cards! I've been wanting to learn how to make them for a while and have seen quite a few videos showing these type of cards, but yours is the best by far because it's not so fast that you can't pick it up to try on your own. Beautiful cards to by the way! Thanks so much!

Love this card Jan. Once in a while as you go along, like in doing this card, after you had made the cut & was ready to make the folds, I was telling you no no the other way. I could see you had a senior moment! Good decision on the white for the doily as well and the back piece. Keep them coming. So happy to see you are enjoying yourself as you go along too!

It is rare and valuable to see a video where decisions are weighed and postponed as the card develops. I sometimes feel so indecisive, but watching you share this trial and error process makes me feel good about it.
@janbcards5 жыл бұрын
Many thanks, AMJ. You have also helped make me feel not so bad about being indecisive! ☺As it turned out, I'm really pleased with the decisions I made, and I'm glad I allowed myself the space to make my decisions as I went along. And to know it helped you, is a real bonus! xx ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.

I think both cards are lovely! With the red one, I thought the white doily best too. You could use the circle that didn't cut out properly by cutting out the next size down circle on another project. I enjoyed the tutorial, tfs. x

Thank you so much Jan, like amjPeace, I too find it so lovely to see someone demonstrate but being so indecisive, it made me smile and I felt so with you in every way as these cards are not easy to sort out but when you do see the way they should be it is like a light being switched on. Thank you once again for being human, if I was with you I would hug you. Love ~ Lady Anne xxx

Are you edges between layers 1/4 or 1/8 inch?

From the base to the first layer it's 1/4", and from the first layer to the second layer it's 1/8". I hope this helps! ☺ Happy crafting, JanB.
