Nice card design Jan. Mines turned out okay, and so many little pieces. My finger notches was a little shabby trying to cut through so many layers. Will make again with extra pieces. Didn’t do a center piece because don’t know if it’s going to be birthday , get well or just thinking of you.

I love your cards and would enjoy making this one. I could not find the US measurements. I saw (cc) cut 4 pieces at 4 1/2 x 51/2 US, and later the size to score was 4 1/8 x 5 3/4. I am lost and hope you can list the US measurements as they don't appear on KZbin. Or I am just tech challenged 😊

I remember that here in Canada we used to call them clothes pegs, I suppose we eventually changed to the American way with the advent of television. What do you have under the card stock on your stamparatus that looks like a plate? Take care, be well..

Many thanks, Carolyn. The mat was an old silicone mat I had from my pre-SU days. It helps getting a better impression, especially when stampin right in the corner. You could try using one of ours: Silicone Craft Sheet - page 162 - 127853. xx

I’ve never seen this style of card! I really like it! I have a question regarding what looks like a plastic thing in your stampartus....I was wondering how you made it and what material did you use to make it and what’s it for?! 🙃

Many thanks, Tera. Are you referring to the red and white striped thingy with the green ribbon around or the opaque rubber mat? The stripey thing is my magnet with Washi tape but the Washi tape kept breaking and I put a ribbon on it to pick it up but as you can see it was coming off as well! Nowadays I use masking tape - it works so much better!LOL! The plastic mat was something I had in my pre-SU days and it added depth for my stamping but I've since bought the SU foam mat. I hope this helps. xx

Would be most helpful if paper measurements were consistent especially, for NEW card makers to "avoid confusion" since KZbin is used worldwide since COVID-19 Pandemic Lock Down uncertainty. Art and Crafts IS Very Good Therapy for the Soul, Spirit, Serenity, Sanity when done right with precise, consistent measurements, instructions and organized in detail....Less Stressful especially, for beginners, "challenged" individuals

Hi, PA. Many thanks for your feedback. When you comment about consistent paper measurements would be useful, are you referring to a). North Amarica using 8.5" x 11" and the rest of the world using A4 which is 8.25" x 11.59" or b). something I've done. If it's b). please let me know what is causing confusion and I will do my utmost to remedy it. The last thing I want to do is cause confusion! Stay safe and stay well. xx

@@janbcards video starts off with US measurements then changes so I looked up measurements in your description section below video...starts off with US measurements, UK measurements, Metric measurements... measurements that followed only had US and Metric...what happened to listing the UK/Worldwide measurements in Inches? One would need BOTH US and Metric measuring/cutting tools to make their projects if they live in US yet purchase card paper from UK /Worldwide. If Both card measurements are listed for US/UK/Worldwide are in Inches as well as Metric...less confusion when one uses BOTH sizes of card paper using ONE tool to cut card paper instead of TWO tools for Inches and Metric especially, for those math challenging individuals.

@@OTASIMOT Hi, PA. I've been back to my video to listen to what I said about measurements. The first measurements I gave were for the four Bumblebee cardstock pieces and I gave them in inches for the UK & rest of the world (ROW) and then US for the same four pieces. The rest of the video was in UK & ROW inches. I can see how this can cause confusion and going forward, I will just let my North American subscribers know that I have put their measurements in the box below the video along with the metric measurements. The Stampin' Up! Paper Trimmer is marked in inches and metric so only one cutting tool is needed wherever you live in the world. As far as I know, you can't buy A4 cardstock in North America which is why I try to give the sizes needed by crafters in North America as well as the UK & ROW who all use A4. Life would be so much easier if we all used inches and A4 paper! I hope I have explained myself properly but please don't hesitate to contact me again if I haven't covered everything. @@janbcards Not every crafter can afford to purchase Stampin Up! products. US crafters are able to purchase A4 paper from Tonic Studios. We also have Asian stores in US that carry A4 paper as well.
