Hey thanks for watching. Yes I had a ND16 on for this flight. This is one of my favorite new setups. I converted it to the DC frame to get props out of view.

What is the typical reason for using an action cam instead? The difference in mounting? Sorry I am new trying to start

Hey, thank you for reaching out and welcome to the community. Typically FPV drones fly with two cameras, one that transmits the signal to your goggles and then another that would be used for more high-quality video. In the case of the DJI 03 air unit system you only need the camera you see through to get pretty good quality video as the VTX system has an SD card where you can record directly to it without loss through radio transmission.

@@AdventureFPV gotcha. I was wondering why some people still attach an action camera to a drone that can get decent footage. Like the Avata that I'm using. I've seen people attach a go pro to it

I was positioned in the perfect spot to always have line of sight on the drone and private connectivity between my headset and the quad. I've been flying for about two years and I can say that my connectivity with the stock remote control and goggle antennas I've been superior to any other set up I've had in the past.

What kind of flight time do you get with that battery?

It depends on if I'm trying to go sub 250 g are not with a sub 250 set up I get around 3 1/2 minutes if I use a 4S lion battery I get almost 10 minutes
