USA destroyed Afghanistan, in order to defeat USSR there. There were, before 1979, a socialist and very progressive government: you can see by yourself videos of the country by that period. It is a shame to notice that the production of cocain, increased after US intervention, in comparison of the period before. 40 yerars of war in this region in the gift granted by the US to this kindful people, and now they decided to let them down, in this chaotic situation. Thank you America for this heritage, and the false democracy you achieved here and other parts of the world, such as in Iraq.
