Mike saying the Heat just have to hit a few of those premium looks but completely ignores the fact that the Nuggets shot worse from 3 than the Heat. Those misses by Strus and Martin are canceled out by the makes from Lowry and Highsmith. That was the 2nd lowest scoring game the Nuggets had all playoffs and the game was never in doubt. The Heat all playoffs have never had to expend the energy they do guarding the Nuggets that affects your offense. Nuggets in 5.

The Nuggets shot 8-27 from 3 which is 29% and the Heat shot 13-39 from 3 for 33%. So, while everyone is talking about the Heat shooting better, if the Nuggets shoot better from 3 this series will be over quick.

The heat have statistically been outside the top 15 and have been outshooting their average a lot. There will be a regression to the meanwhile is terrible two fold for Miami who lives on the 3.

Analysis is so much better when y’all are losing lol Denver plays smarter defense so y’all are not getting those driving fouls. During LA they had a run where they knew the refs were calling anything and adjusted so they were giving up easy layups vs contesting everything (so 2 point plays vs 3 + momentum shift) and just kept scoring on the other end until LA ran out of steam. You have to be able to score on the Nuggets to win, and you have to be able to guard Murray who is somehow quietly still their number 1 scoring option who loves big moments. Jokic defies what you expect from an all star, accept it and enjoy the outstanding weird basketball genius

The issue is they don't have an answer to missing shots. Maybe the altitude is screwing up their 3s. If they sunk even half of what they missed, this is still a game. And let's be real. Jimmy Butler hasn't had a great game since early in the Boston series. Gordon's physicality is a matchup problem.
