Please pay it if you can afford it, Check cheaper university like Dakota State University or other universities. American university is a private university which is very expensive. Look for schools that don't require transcript evaluation, not all of them does, trust me, I know.

Good evening sir Please I'll need your advice about my transcript. School's here in Nigeria require a fee of about $70 to send official transcript abroad. I can't afford to do that for every school I apply to, that would amount to a hefty sum, if I send my personal transcript copy which I also got from the school when applying for a graduate program would the school still consider my application?

If you have a good copy with the college stamp, make a good copy, and send it off to the college admissions office. Due to persons presenting fake diplomas and transcript, they may not take it. Try and see what happens. You should target 2 or 3 colleges. Make sure they have the programs you need.
