I tried this recipe and it's amazing! I only had almomd flour so I used that instead of oat flour. My hubby and kids love it and keep requesting it so I've made it 3 times within the last few weeks. Delicious! Thank you

I've never had a peanut butter bar before. This was so simple to make. Even making the oat flour out of oatmeal was fast and easy in the food processor. The hardest part was the melting of the pb, with both the chocolate and maple syrup as I didn't use a microwave. I just made a double boiler with 2 pots. The longest part was getting the water to boil! They were delicious! Thank you for sharing this recipe :-)

Hi, great recipe!! Can we replace the maple syrup with honey? Thanks
@susannaal-labban84123 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this recipe! Looking forward to trying it this weekend. I can sometimes find gluten-free recipes and I can sometimes find vegan recipes, but it's a real treat when I can find one that's gluten-free AND vegan! I do have one question. In the description box you list semi-sweet chocolate chips, but in the video you say bittersweet chocolate chips. Which do you prefer? 🙂
@Feelgoodfoodie3 жыл бұрын
Yay, that's such a big bonus when it's vegan and gluten-free, I agree! I prefer bittersweet personally but my kids prefer semi-sweet so I switch between both.

Yay! Store the remaining peanut butter bars in an airtight container, and it will last up to 7 days in the fridge or in the freezer for 3 months.

Have you ever made them with coconut flour instead of oat flour?
@twistedara4 жыл бұрын
I was wondering the same thing. I don't think it will work just swapping it. Coconut flour needs a good amount of moisture. Maybe if you add some coconut oil. I think going to try it. Im going to use almond butter instead of peanut butter too.
@twistedara4 жыл бұрын
I just found a recipe with coconut flour. It's on "the big mans world" page. Idk how to add the link. Sorry. I love his page. He has so many different substitutions for sweeteners and flours.

Can I use vegan/dairy-free chocolate chips for this recipe? Also can I use regular flour for this recipe as well? 😃👍🏻💕💕
@marijana.majic.3 жыл бұрын
This is a no-bake recipe, so no "regular" flour, but dairy-free chocolate is definitely an option. :)

I made these today. That base is far too dense and heavy. It's dry and cloying. My advice is not to bother.
