Her jumps are right up there with her partners. That is amazing. I read somewhere in an interview she gets nervous or lacks confidence in preparing for a role. Given her elan and seeming confidence on stage, I find that almost hard to believe. If that's true, she uses those emotions well. Maybe her fear drives her to succeed.

Her jumps are truly remarkable. I've heard her referred to as the "ballerina who jumps like a man" ... not terribly flattering but it gets the point across lol. And I do believe what you've read about her pre-show jitters. If you'll watch an older video I made about her it shows her as a very young girl crying tears of frustration when failing at a backstage attempt at a turn just before a performance. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZq7c2iAlKpnbsk But, like I've always told my students, nerves are good. They make you focus. When you feel too comfortable in a role, THAT'S when you're going to zone out and botch up a step or two lol.
