I've been doing "no base makeup" for years and its the best! foundation is just so cakey on the skin and really clogs pores. As someone with bad acne, avoiding foundation is tough but also prevents causing more breakouts.

Me too, still do something with the eyes but rarely do much for the base or lips unless it’s for a “fancy event” type thing, and it’s such a life saver in the summer as you don’t sweat the base off, also a cystic acne prone girly so I can full face, but at a cost 😂

Yes!! I have oily skin that is hard to keep foundation on/breaks out AND freckles I don’t want to cover up. Ironically, I actually found an oil-based foundation that is great for spot treatment when I need it (Kosas tinted face oil)

If you're okay with putting a little makeup solely on your acne, I use a nude brightening eye pencil! It's for your waterline but I dab it over my spots (as long as they're closed), and it conceals without getting it everywhere else! You could also use acne patches.

Ever since I shaved the ends of my brows off I have been searching high and low for a long-wearing brow product. I definitely recommend the L'Oreal Paris unbelievabrow. Just use a small brush to apply it BC the one that comes with it is massive. This is swim proof, sweat proof, smear proof, just absolutely exactly what I had been searching for and if they ever discontinue it I think I will actually have a mental breakdown

im so happy you posted :) i actually did this one and obviously it looked way different on me but i actually love it. i have acne and I shouldnt be wearing base makeup anyway so it was cool to try this and realize that i actually am ok with some spots out:) esp with the frecks/beauty marks :)) anyway, video ideas : i like when you try different aesthetics i think those are fun. Esp since you pull off so many looks :P you could try pastels, rhinestones (like when euphoria makeup was trending a few years ago lol) , 70s/80s/other era inspired, etc. maybe an updated skincare routine?

I use that brow pen for my eyebrows (I have none- lost them to alopecia about a decade ago) and I put powder down before I use the pen. It also helps to do a layer of a brow pencil underneath. I usually just do a blonde or taupe pencil under it to give it a base, then powder it, then use the pen to create hair like strokes. then i powder again to lock it in.

I never found a foundation that matches my skin tone and doesn't feel/ look cakey, so I only ever wear tinted moisturizers + maybe concealer for special occasions. And when the "boy-beat" style trended a few years ago I p much completely stopped caring about my under eye bags or even any skin discoloration/ blemishes. I'd be interested in seeing you try looks from different eras (20s/60s) or some Asian products/techniques/styles and sit-down chats about most/least used products, skin care routine, or honestly any topic that interests you like art, pets, tattoos, school, etc.
