Nice things they did was throw in a free bot and relic for every act to make them feel rewarding. They put a 5 star cyclonus in act 5 chapter 2 for completion and nemesis as a 5 star for chapter 2 completion as a reward for act 6. Seems like Netflix wants us to use the chips more instead of micro transactions which thank you!! Hopefully the rotb cast get added if Netflix can figure out the licensing issues

3 mains reasons about why the original Forged to Fight is more better than the Netflix one: Free game, Bayverse characters and to not have to start everything from beginning again. So people can clam they are happy that the game is back but, for me, the game is still dead and I don't play it until they put the game for free without we need to pay for a Netflix account and bring back the Bayverse characters because I was enjoying the original game when it was for free with my 5 main team characters who was G1 Shockwave, Bludgeon, Bay Bonecrusher, Bay Megatron and Bay Grindor.

Soundblaster had a class change he was Tactician and his now a Demo bot. Maybe Bayformers got moved out because they currently have ROTF and DOTM or at least had them.

To provide a full list, the missing bots are Brawlers: MV1 Grindor Skill: Bonecrusher, Drift, Hot Rod, Hound Scout: Barricade Demo: Ironhide, Megatron, Mixmaster Tac: Bumblebee Of these, I think the biggest losses were MV1, Drift and Ironhide. Its a shame that they likely won't come back since this era of bots were specifically removed from the game. Overall though, I'm enjoying the game. I'm glad the combat loop is still the same, just need to work off the rust.

@Sasha The Gun It's probably a licensing thing. Netflix probably doesn't have the rights to Bayformers and it was easier to remove them from the game over anything else. And as limited of communication we got from Kabam, I doubt Netflix will have better communication by comparison.

Soundblaster inherited Mix's kit and has the + Special Attack and + Crit Damage over time mechanic. Chromia inherited Hot Rod's deceleration mechanic i wonder if all of the Bayverse bots' kits are eventually gonna be reused for new G1 characters. maybe Warpath with Bayverse Ironhide's burning missiles? Blurr with Bayverse Bee's evasion and armor break?

Honestly, as much as I miss the bayformers being on the platform, I like how there is only one version of the characters, and how all their designs now stay consistent. Rodimus Prime is a reskinned version of MV1 Optimus Prime (if you haven't realized) has the same attacks.

I doubt they’ll add the bayformers back in ever. Chromia feels like a hot rod retool and soundblaster has like half of mixmaster’s kit. Curiously enough skywarp also jumped to a scout and windblade became a warrior. Who knows what we’ll see from them?

It looks like this game is scheduled to get updates slowly, since we can only get up to Act 2 Chapter 1 right now. It says that Chapter 2 will be released in about 14 days, so we’ll see how it goes then.

Yeah, they’ll probably be re-added once Netflix can secure the rights. It looks like the only reason they got this game was to fit in with their WFC Trilogy since both depend heavily on G1 for inspiration.

Not too sure how that would work, especially in a game like this I think loosing the rights to something like the bayverse would mean no new additions instead of pulling the plug….Even tho each iteration of every character is their own separate IP… but gotta remember that this game made next to no revenue and rarely received an actual update, I’m not including those half ass’d $100 bots they pumped out, for obvious reasons… after playing MCOC for about 6-7 weeks, the amount of recycled game modes that kabam could’ve easily brought over and chose not to is just astonishing, as I don’t think licensing issues with characters would prevent game modes from being added, but unfortunately we will never actually know the definitive reason why kabam shut down the game, but we can make a pretty educated guess
