@@YeshuaSaves-tc6iu Add "Vav" in between and get Aleph Vav Tav translated as Owt or "sign". Signs like the Sabbath and circumcision pointed to Jesus and the New Covenant. Aleph is silent. Vav is a peg. Tav is a cross. Jesus was silent as He was nailed to a Cross.

These letters were written by people who had lost their connection with Yahweh and therefore did not understand the meaning of the original pictograph letters that proceeded these letters. The earliest pictograph letters (Proto-Sinaitic), which are the oldest Hebrew letters, do have meaning. When they are used in conjunction with Scripture this is an amazing teaching tool. For example: Manna which is Mem and Nun is a picture of water (mem) and life (nun) and can mean "Living Water" John 7:38 and "Water of Life" Rev. 21:6; 22:1; and 22:17. This can only be understood with the help of the Holy Spirit and not with the mind of men.

Pretty neat Dr brown, I couldn't tell ya nothing about it one way or the other but I agree 100% that some folk don't think the word is enough but there is cool stuff about the word like acrostics and what not, I always thought that was cool.

This is interesting, especially regarding the numbers (or lack thereof) does this in any way affect the interpretation of 666 as Nero Caesar by way of gematria in the New Testament?

If you look up Revelations 13:18 in a study Bible or a Bible with many notes (like the NET) it will tell you that there are some manuscripts with the number 616 and that in the original Greek of the passage it did not use our number characters. Instead it was spelled out for example it literally says “six hundred and sixty-six”. So that makes gematria an unlikely connection cause “six hundred and sixteen” (616) corresponds to Nero in gematria. So if it really was gematria then why wouldn’t all of the manuscripts say 616? Cause then it would work very nicely.

what about in the case of certain names? like how most korean names are chinese in origin, and though there's a hangul spelling there's also a hanja spelling and the true meaning of the name is carried in the hanja. The example name that's coming to mind is Leah, the meaning that would be represented in the pictographs (of a young ox being led) lines up with the common interpretation of that name but also provides a better explanation for the possible other meaning (which is cow) that is suspected to come from a root in another language that's the only one I can think of that might make an at all compelling argument in favor of that idea though

Thank you Dr. Brown. This video disects what is a bottomless Wormhole that so many Believers get stuck in. As Yeshua said, we need to hold to his teaching... then we are really his disciples. Then we will know the truth and the truth will set us free. Biblical texts cannot mean to us as an audience something they could never have meant to their original audience. It's a basic interpretation rule in all biblical study. There are some teachers in the body of Christ that are extremely popular now...very popular authors. And they ramble on and on and on about this type of silly imaginative stuff. We need to stop the nonsense. Get back to putting into practice the teachings of Christ. Get on our knees and pray desperately for God's Kingdom to manifest in this land. We need to pray for the true manifestation of the Holy Spirit's power. We need to love our brother and take up our cross daily and follow Christ. All of this is way more challenging than all of this imaginary stuff people get stuck in. And it is what we are truly called to. This pictograph stuff and endless numerology is a weapon of mass destraction that pull people off the path.

This honestly sounds like you don't understand the evolution of languages. In the most primative of ages they were trying their best to convey ideas. Aleph-Bet, which is Ab, which is Father, is conveying the idea of Strength/Leader of the House. Over time, as the language spread amongst people & became more complex, no they probably weren't thinking about the primative grammatical constructs of the words. Just like you don't break down English words to their Greek/Latin roots, because you understand the general meaning of English terms without it. However, that doesn't diminish the fact that the words have Greek/Latin roots. Likewise, just because later generations of Hebrews, MIGHT(because we don't know this as a fact) have understood the context of words without the meaning the letters implicated, that doesn't negate that the letters themselves represent something.

Genesis 5 name meaning from Adam to Noah of the meaning from study's say when put together says " Man appointed moral sorrow and yet the Blessed God shall come down teaching His death shall bring the disparing rest and comfort" that is amazing even if you don't think it say anything extra because of what is saying and says in order like God would come down teaching" His death" would bring the disparing rest and comfort " - gospel story, plus more things of the name of God meaning behold the nail behold the hand behold the nail is amazing because of what is meaning and showing itself of what Christ would do for us, plus more and I don't know if he's talking about this put it's amazing study to learn with the text, God bless.

I don't understand what you're trying to disprove, exactly. You just said the letter alef originated as the picture of the ox head. Is this the subject of a dispute? Are you trying to contradict or argue against someone or something? It sounds like you're trying to deny the existence of Hebrew etymology and say Hebrew words appeared as purely abstract concepts. That is clearly not the case. Please explain.

Abacus comes from alphabet . Of course the the letters have numerical value . This understanding shown in Revelation said that the NuMber of the beasts NaMe is six hundred and sixty six , 666 . Waw , waw , waw , the three nails is seen everywhere . The bar code and in www. . The Latin capital A , is now a picture of an ox upside down ( with the writing going backwards ) . This is the picture of sacrifice , a bull on the altar . The A is made of three ' nails ' and it was three nails that Yeshua was pinned to the cross with ! . I don't think it is in any way superseding the plain script just revealing that there is an intelligence behind it that defies the understanding of man .

@@billvigus3719 Dr Ivan Panin was a Russian Soviet , atheist , world renowned gifted mathematician . He was also Jewish , in his coffee breaks he played with the Torah as he had heard the letters had numerical value , just for fun . What he found was mathematical patterns of seven in each verse . This ultimately led to his conversion . These patterns had to be in there from when they were first written . Some people draw different conclusions from this , but he discerned it was the hand of Yah ! I certainly do not believe the Scriptures were compiled in 300 BC , do you ?

@@dunoze I'm glad he was converted but his use of the text is not what this video or I was discussing. Most of his work seems to be finding the #7 throughout the text based on how many letters or nouns etc. not based on the numerical value of the letters themselves. He does delve some into gematria but again any supposed code is coincidence as the same has been shown in random works. I believe the Bible is G-d's word but you've proven nothing not countered the evidence in the video.

@@billvigus3719 The very basis of what Panin found was only possible if the letters had numerical value . His work is easily found on the net in free pdf s . Rabbi Joseph Sobel , a Messianic Believer writes and talks on letter numerical value in in different context in " Mysteries of the Messiah " . Chuck Missler covered this very well in his Bible Codes . These are all evidences something beyond man being the author of Scripture .

Nope. Hebrew is one of the oldest known languages ... as because of this .. did have letters based on a "picture" or symbol representing an a known object ... and .. that letter was assign a commonly understood meaning(s) .. as well as sound of course. It is simply commonsense ... that the oldest written languages ... the original for an object will be a picture or symbol that would represent it .... and/or ... the word is broken up into ... verbal letters requiring a new picture/symbols and meaning(s) for that letter. Look at the letters for the Hebrew father ... and ... for son. There are common meanings for each letter ... and collectively ... they they support the word ... or ... give extra meaning. Look at the common meanings for Alef & tav ... and how they fully support ... God being the beginning & the end. And finally ... God always knew .. it would take 7 x 1000 years to save the Children of God (Jesus) from the Children of Man (Adam). Jesus was always going to be a Jew ...and Abraham was always going to be chosen by God to be the Father of nations. Only God .. can give the ending or "tav" ... from the very beginning ( bereshit)
