The way you're able to describe exactly how you feel throughout these videos is part of what makes them so damn good!

On that type of track real BIKE MESSENGERS rule supreme, even with flat bars & flannel shirts they will kick your ass. I’ve done 2 races just like that on a kart track and every time BIKE MESSENGERS with low ratios (46x18 or even lower) won. Pure skill

Damn, I was nervous for you! It really came across how being in that environment impacted you mentally. Felt the same at my first CX. You hit the nail on the head too, so much progression in one day, especially side by side seeing what is possible as someone rips by you through a corner.

Used to have an abandoned kart track a couple of blocks from house and used to love riding it on my road or mountain bike. Loved the corners and seeing how fast I could take them and then how fast I could accelerate in the straights. I'd time laps and always try beat a previous fastest time. Had a blast.

These indoor fixie crits look like SO MUCH FUN. I haven't ridden a fixie in 15 years but this video sealed the deal, I'm going to go flip the wheel over on my single speed and get back into it. Now to find a local crit and embarrass myself :)
