No Brush Required Episode 78 with Artist and Artpreneur Julia Veenstra

In this episode of No Brush Required, Barbara Reade and I had the pleasure of chatting with Canadian artist, Square Foot Show founder and Crown and Press Gallery owner Julia Veenstra.
Julia shared how her early days of art-making at the kitchen table (in Tanzania and Kenya, while her children were young), participating in local 'tent' shows', taking the leap and moving into her first 'outside the house' studio and launching the @squarefootshow (first in person, then virtually) all led to her recent opening on a bricks and mortar gallery space.
She shares many tips for artists who struggle with finding an audience and marketing their work, as well as an overall attitude of following your gut, saying yes to opportunities and figuring out how to make them work in your favour.
