No Brush Required Reads - All The Beauty in the World: The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Me

This month's art book - book club read was a lovely memoir by Patrick Bringley, a former museum guard at the Met. The book is both a love affair with the museum and a meditation on grief. Weaving together stories of the people he encountered and the profound effect sitting still with the art had on him.
In reading the book, Barbara and I were both reminded of our recent visit to the Met (as well as all the things we didn't have a chance to see this time around).
