How many did you have not fire right out of the box? I had 10 of 12 not fire. After some adjustment they were able to spring. This was a new learning process for me as I have not had a trap that needed to be tweaked out of the box. I'm pretty excited to get these deployed! Very strong traps

I don’t remember exactly how many but several wouldn’t fire. They definitely take some tinkering

Thanks for the video. Good info. I got a dozen of these but haven't had the chance to use them yet.

How are you planning on running them? Cubby sets, blind sets on land? I have some non laminated no bs 1.5's. It was a pain to get the pan flat, but running a high pan makes sense now.

Pocket set I meant!

I plan to run them underwater in front of pockets.

What is the point of the pan stop
@motrapper42734 жыл бұрын
Dan Jones according to the BMPs, “The use of a pan stop assembly decreases the distance between the trap jaw and pan after the trap is sprung, limiting access to the restrained foot and reducing the chance of injury. Pan stops also prevent the animal from stepping too far into the trap, ensuring optimal jaw placement on the restrained foot.”

Pan stop on there so the mink flopper pan does not get stuck between the levers and bottom out
