Yes, a message to Walter back in December to ask for his Saab to appear on the channel (which was delayed by peak lockdown) has turned into something wonderful. Yes, we do like these, a real surprise, actually! I had never driven any Saab before, and so didn't have a massive degree of expectation, but it turned out to be pretty good. You just need to go up a couple of trims to get all the toys! The 2.8 V6 would be quite something.

Excellent review. I know very little about Saab’s, always liked the old 900s. Very nice quality car with great spec, beautifully kept by the owner, and excellent choice of proper petrol engines. I never understand ‘ devils‘ fuelled convertibles, but there must have been a market.

Yes sir, Walter has really looked after this. It was quite a surprise, actually. It's not as good quality as a Mercedes, but it is an awful lot better than that Chrysler. @lloydvehicleconsulting3 жыл бұрын
Yes, there may be some General Motors switchgear somewhere, but I am familiar with Vectra Cs and Astra Hs, and I couldn't really see any. What I could see was typical Saab. Some of the switches felt a bit nasty in comparison with a Mercedes or BMW, but we aren't paying premium German prices for the 2007 versions of these Saabs, are we? Saab clearly didn't want to compromise, and maybe that was what eventually killed them off.
