I love that you just have fun! Practice makes perfect , there is no right or wrong way to do it and makeup is just that “fun” and I think I you pulled the look together beautifully in the end! Maybe more densely packed brushes would help with less fallout, and help control the darker colors. I get fallout with a lot of glitter shadows but these are still stunning and the look you did cake out beautiful! Also love the bloopers at the end. Just found your channel and you have a new subscriber. Enjoy finding new yohtubers it’s a breath of fresh air!

If we all didn’t continue learning everything we do would be boring and that’s what I meant by practice makes perfect. No right or wrong, and yes I’m positive no huge makeup artist ever stops practicing and learning and trying out new techniques.

lisadippity absolutely I would defend myself, but in a positive way. I know the person wasn’t coming at me negatively but it depends on the persons perspective you know? To me each and every single person applies their makeup the way they do it and not everyone will agree on the matter. I just want a positive environment on my channel because the world already has a lot of negativity in it that I want this place to feel safe and welcoming with no judgment you know?

Samantha Holt yes it did! I was a little unsure if it was going to fall out, but one of mine is loose and the shimmers are already like breaking a little and getting close to pan.

I wonder if a synthetic brush would not dig into the burgundy color as much? I know with some high-end shadow like Marc Jacob's iconic palettes are super soft and I can not use goat hair like Jaclyn's brushes. Nevertheless nice video, thanks for sharing!

Agreed. A softer synthetic brush is better for super pigmented shadows and pressed pigments. Goat hair brushes are good for cream shadows and foiled/wet brush technique.

sandy5791 I bet! I think it’s so pigmented that is causes the fallout but as annoying as it is, it’s easy to clean up and it’s a beautiful color!

It’s cruelty free since they don’t test on animals, however they confirmed that ir was not vegan since it has carmine
