Omg! You’re amazing!! I wondered if you were gonna go for Love for Sale. So, ya I did, so u know where to get some if u really want to try it. It’s pretty much fizzy berry aldehydes on top of The Lover’s Tale. With a bit of sugared rose. It’s fun, and I’m glad I got it, but I don’t anticipate it having quite the following that Sticky Lips seems to have garnered as a fan fave.

Thank you Erina that all makes me feel a tinge better. I do have the Lovers Tale and I don't know if I would like the berry aldehyde and candy notes. I just love Sticky Lips, and I felt like I was doomed to miss out again-- but I feel resigned this time lol and will have to pass. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on it!

Your willpower is amazing! I need to take a page out of your book! So true about having to power through the bad feelings as part of the process. I ALWAYS find an exception to the rule or a special circumstance. I think that when I do a no buy, a big part of my process will be staying off of the sites, etc, so that I'm blissfully unaware of all the deals!

You are doing well 🙂. I am not on a no buy. Also my collection is small. I have some fragrances I really want and so I may simply purchase 10mls and decants to satisfy my perfume tooth 😂😂. They would also be fragrances on my wish list for at least 3 years. L'occitance Rose is one that I may have to purchase full bottle, its a gorgeous rose wateresque scent. But you keep going strong you have a lovely and diverse collection and you still have alot of reviews to do as promised.

You didn’t break the no-buy rule by replacing the broken bottle, in my opinion. I am super impressed by your focus and keeping to your goal of not falling for the psychological mind games we play with ourselves to only end up buying things we don’t need. Bravo! I am also in the same boat. Seeing so many good deals and having to pass them up feels terrible at first and then later, it’s almost freeing to not be slave to the want monster. You do have such a magnificent collection already, so There’s lots to keep you distracted when you feel like you’re missing out on new acquisitions.

Oh my goodness- the strength you have! I am so impressed. Truly you’re my hero. Even though I have fallen off the wagon hard, I am so much closer to getting to where you are. I did it with my handbags, the cravings are nearly gone and I’m not being stupid anymore with them.. On the perfume front I just needed one more bender I hope. One LONG bender…..ok so I think a replacement bottle isn’t actually cheating, despite my joke below. I don’t think gifts would be cheating either.

Eau delicate is gorgeous. It’s a light transparent white floral. Orange blossom is supposedly the main floral note but I swear I get some hyacinth with a dash of lilac. Glad to hear it’s back on the market.

Hi Wendi! I did enjoy hearing how your first initial period of No Buying in 2024 has been going. It can certainly be difficult when you see a fragrance at a fantastic price, but at least you have alternatives to concentrate on and to soften the blow. Also, I don't think having to replace an existing bottle in your collection through accidental damage counts as a purchase. The motive for the purchase is a key consideration. :0)
