I have been animating LEDS and before that Bulbs long before "Programming" was an option, an ne555 and an lm3914 was good enough for KITT so it's good enough for me.

Great stuff. What would you recommend to have 2 simple leds, acting as eyes in a skull prop, blink as if they were alive (on 3-4 seconds, then off for .5 seconds, then on again, repeating infinitely)? Right now we have 2 12v UV/Purple leds (not neopixel) in our skull design but they are only constant on.

I went to the program to see about setting up what I want to do. but I didn't find where to do the color (I want it all white). I have SK6812 RGBW LED strip. I want to do a sword where the edge of the sword will light starting at the hilt and go to the tip of the sword. once lit, it would all stay on. also didn't see any option for that. I did see where I could have the lights move, but to light all then stay on, I didn't know what to do. it this something you are set up to help me with? or can you direct me where to go? thank you so much for your videos, I have already learned from them and appreciate your work!

I am absolutely useless with electronics, is there a way to make string lights (light mini Christmas tree lights) so that each individual light lights up in a certain pattern? I’m wanting to use LEDs on a stranger things cake, on a tier that looks like the light up alphabet thing and have it spell out things, is that actually possible? TIA ❤️

So I had an idea to make an RGB LED bicycle frame with RGB LED strips and then I wondered what do I use to diffuse light. Also for that I think I'd need a bit more power than a power bank so what do I use for energy that is rechargeable? What is the best to use, any tips?

You probably won't see this, but I am wanting to put together an Astro Bot cosplay and was wondering if this would work with animating its eyes on the inside of the helmet's visor?
@ZibartasАй бұрын
If you're planning to use addressable LEDs -why not! :D
@verynicedice7195Ай бұрын
@Zibartas my other question is: what would be the proper way of mounting the led strip/sheet? Would you pinlock it to the visor or directly glue it? I've seen people 3D print a cage-like faceplate that goes between the front and back of the helmet.

Absolutely amazing work on these videos Ziartas. I am personally not a cosplayer but a light painter who likes to create his own tools. Looking to create a light painting stick with the 144led / m and control with the Arduino mini. Do you think the mini would be a good enough option or need to step up to a pro? Iam a beginner with led codding so do not want to go over the top with my first build. :D Thanks for your answer and keep up the good work!!

Im new to this, its one arduino nano per strip led or can I connect several LED strips to an Arduino nano?
@Zibartas8 ай бұрын
If you want multiple things happening at once - you need to connect strips to separate pins. There is a limited amount of PWM capable pins - the bigger the Arduino the more pins it has - so it can do more different animations at the same time. That's the software part. Hardware part - if you just want a lot of strips performing the same animation - just connect them in parallel (same +, - and DATA). Arduino doesn't know if there's 1, or 5, or 125 strips connected to it, it's just pushing out the same signal ✌️
