Rodtang seemed to control the tempo of most of that fight, while Superlek had some amazing bursts and stoodfast in front of some crazy punishment... some of those elbows and knees were incredible. The respect they show each other at the end is admirable and shows these people are kind hearted.

@@92Carnage sure superlek won however he also said that he missed weight by 5 pounds which is a big advantage when it comes to strength, I think they need to do a rematch cause of their weight differences, would also be a more fair fight and entertaining :)

Superlek was very busy early lots of hard leg kicks Rodtang was enormous in the second half of the fight TBH i think it was closer than the judges scored it. Both men are monsters take a bow gentleman!!!

These two are my fav contemporary muay thai fighters. I watched this many times. First round was close but edge to rodtang with the vicious blows although superlek had his trademark kicks in. Second round was all superlek due to knockdown, but it was more of a push knockdown and he doubled up on this elbow while rodtang was falling down against the ropes. For those saying rodtang was neutralized, it was because superlek resorted to alot of wrestling and pushing to get rodtang offbalance. Last time i checked this was muay thai. That being said it was effective in 2nd round and superlek kept doing this in 3rd round. Rodtang adjusted in 3rd and youll notice him countering the pushing/wrestling and threw superlek to the floor twice. Superlek was ineffective third round. Rodtang got alot of hard elbows in. Rodtang should've won. But superlek is an absolute animal. These guys represent muay thai to the fullest. Compare this fight vs haggerty…stark difference in heart.

nooo. he lost clearly, most because of the knockdown. i LOVE rodtang and his style. but this one he lost... very close but he lost... you could see how superlek KNOWS how to counter rodtang and survive his attacks... he played with him in the first round then geared up and gave rodtang the fight of his life.

u should count the elbows that Rodtang landed. Superlek played a tricky way by defending hands all the time I think that's not legal or he should be warned. That knock down was not clear to be the decision. Rodtang is really humble in all matters and as a fighter point of view I would definitely go towards Rodtang.❤
