I had done this pinholes but it doesn’t work don’t waste your money and time heeling After surgery done it’s approved but after few months my gums go back receding so mad , it was pain and expensive I just got my gums done again with old techniques

Sorry to hear that. Did your insurance cover it? I don't think mine will. My dentist has been trying to get me to do the PST for the past two years, but I haven't been able to commit. I just don't see how the collagen strips are going to prevent the gum from doing what it will naturally wants to do, which is spring back to its original position. I think I'll just live with my receding gum and let nature takes its course.

Probably because you didn’t clean by our teeth if you don’t brush twice and floss twice and use mouthwash once a day they gonna go bad again. Also you needed to change you diet and the way you brush don’t do it too aggresively

Does pinhole working also for gum redness? I was told that my gums were thin, so this thickened them. They use collagen. It really wasn't that bad. It wasn't something I was rushing to do, but was advised I'd need it done eventually. I think it was either brushing too hard (and not knowing) or even genetic. My dad and his sister had the grafting done.

It doesn’t work. That’s why you never see this procedure done in practice. Gum graphs are the best option, and even those don’t work great. The best cure is to not get recession in the first place

@@Me-ui3ug I've had laser surgery, traditional surgery, and gum grafts. All of them failures. As tooth by tooth needs to be removed they are being replaced with implants. Expensive, but will last the rest of my life with zero issues.

It does not work. I had it done 2 and now it is worse then before. Before I had a 3mm root showing on my left incisor, now I have 5m showing my left incisor and 0.5mm on the right incisor and black wholes on the left and right side. They say it is 90% success rate, dont believe them, it is a total scam.

And my issue was more thinness that the recession But I also had a very good doctor. And I was told that it’s something you can always get touched up again should you need to.
