MFE in MD2H was stupid, but very rare, it rolled as much as the hair coupon man at times, and basically an ego is needed almost every turn if you're not fully prepped for the fight. However bringing in spicebush and spamming sunshower works wonders

since they added the choice to spend starlight at the start of your run to get a t4 gift, a run where no one does any damage can be reasonably achieved; I don't have enough starlight right now to blow on getting thrill as a starter but the run is real, just waiting to be done.

The EGO Gift "Thrill" inflicts a set amount of Rupture on the enemy and then at the end of the turn, deals damage based on the amount of Rupture the enemy has. Basically, Gregor stalled them long enough for them to amass so much Rupture their entire bodies shut down

Thrill: Turn Start: inflict 3 Rupture Potency and +3 Rupture Count on all enemies. (or all Abnormality Parts) Turn End: Inflict (Rupture Potency x Rupture Count) Gluttony damage to all enemies with 3+ Rupture Count (for Abnormalities, each Part is considered individually) then reduce Rupture Count by 2. keep in mind rupture count only decreases upon the enemy being hit by an attack, so by not attacking you can upkeep rupture indefinitely turn 1: enemies all have 3 rupture and 3 rupture count. at the end of turn count reduces by 2 and they take 9 damage turn 2: 3 more rupture and rupture count (6x4). end of turn damage: 24 turn 3+: pattern repeats until enemy is exploded or you lose to the 5% tails hit rate and die now for the fun part: Mirror of the Lake introduces the option to spend cost to upgrade certain EGO gifts at rest stops. gifts that are eligible can be upgraded twice, increasing the magnitude of the effect. seems like Thrill++ doubles the potency inflicted from 3 to 6, based on the footage.

The E.G.O Gift Thrill deals some Rupture potency and Count to every enemy at turn start, then at turn end it deals damage to the enemy equal to the Rupture Potency × the Rupture Count. Upgraded, it inflicts a little more Potency and I believe 1 more count on second upgrade. It does not remove said Rupture after doing this, so it can stack SUPER high if you don't actually hit the enemy. I got to beat Mirror Dungeon 3 Hard with an underleveled team (I forgot they weren't leveled yet and didn't check) by doing absolutely nothing on Floor 4 except dodging and using E.G.O.
