Wonderfully put together pop-music. The tones are all wonderfully measured, from every instrument. Jamie owns this album. His keys and synths are dark, brooding, angry, beautiful and catchy in equal measure. A real triumph, for me. And easily the best New Wave album since the early 90's. If you're here because you loved Thursday and/or Lostprophets, but don't like it: totally understand why, and disappointment must be quite fierce, but you still have those 2 bands and their discographies. Long live NO DEVOTION. Fantastic band.
