Only experienced motorcycle riders can appreciate just how skilled and strong a rider Noraly is. That poor Madagascan had his work cut out for him. The more one digs below the surface of what it takes to do what she is doing the more evident it becomes. Her list of strengths is a mile long. I get it being on the “road” is a very special experience most people will never do. After 4 - 6 weeks your life is the “road” the rest fades. Riding essentially wi😢th your life on a motorcycle requires a degree of Zen and calm. Personally I have ridden from Mumbai to London (2019) and from LA to Santiago (2023). It is a calling in life like a moth to a candle you can’t escape it. But when you are riding in foreign countries and each day is a challenge down to the smallest things there is in my opinion a sense of freedom which is very seductive.

Very tricky dirty roads. Alaska would get a proper beating riding in there. I am glad you changed your plans for a proper enduro. When you said " Didier can ride!" and starts laughing, it was so contagious your laugh that i loled with you.😂 You've got some unlucky bad weather so far. Hope sun comes out and shines with you. Happy Easter for all Ichybooters. 🙏🐰

Your voice is addictive Noraly. Thank you for always giving us something exciting to watch. Adventure is in the very air that you breathe. A life without adventure is just an existence. Thank you so much.

Yay! more itchy boots! my #1 youtuber, I never miss an episode and watch all the way thru. One thing that I have found watching these is that the poorest people are the kindest and willing to give all to a stranger...try that in say England lol God speed Noraly

Noraly has such skill and determination that that I could never muster. I am in awe. Noraly's travels is the series that I have watched longest of all series. So interesting to see the world through her eyes of places where I have been and many more that I will never get to, but have now visited in my mind.

The big lesson is this: Poverty takes a different meaning. Imagine any teen in Madagascar looking forward to life as an adult. It makes Atlanta and LA look just wonderful.
@stonew19278 ай бұрын
Poverty isn't just an economical situation. I've met many economically poor people who are happier and more fulfilled than those who are better off financially than they are. Depends on the circumstances, of course. But you can be rich and still be spiritually poor, as we so often see.

Smoggy old LA doesn't appeal to me much as compared to this scenic and unpolluted countryside.

@@seayak easy to say that when you have all the facilities and things you need around you. did you see those roads? when did you last see people carrying things using home made wooden wheel barrows? there is nothing to be happy about here, except from a visitor's perspective. Norally thinks the place is great because she is just touring it. i doubt she would say that if she has to live there for some decades.

People who have less are the most generous , the Malagasy people are known for their kindness and hospitality . They don’t have much but they are happier than people who have everything . I believe that’s why Noraly are interested in discovering all the remote areas.
