I guess I have a different take on children touching the horse, it for the parents not to put there child in that situation bringing a child up trying to start touching, and then have the guard tell the child no! That’s the parents putting their children in that situation not the guard, and children should be told before approaching by the parents this is a working animal and not to touch! These horses deserve respect and this isn’t a petting zoo. You want to touch horses go to a petting zoo and take your children. Learning children respect and rules is key! Good to see guards enforce the rules to everyone taking no nonsense and taking back this faculty! If you visit you go by the rules period! This is a military institution and should be treated as such. As the female officer stated before this isn’t Disney land.
@kymscates289211 күн бұрын
Definitely, parents should be teaching their children boundaries. Not everything should be touched and grabbed at. I was always brought up to keep my hands to myself especially in the shops was told to walk with my hands held behind my back so I wouldn’t touch anything. Not all animals are friendly so children should know early on to be cautious and ask before touching anyone or any animal. Basic respect and courtesy really. Unfortunately it seems children are being brought up that anything they want they get or it’s considered child cruelty.

Great video as always. Thank you for showing us these gorgeous horses. I wish we had the cool wind today. Weather man said 105 to a 110 heat index today. Hubby is buying his lunch today so he can have 30 minutes in the ac. I love the paint colors. Think thats why i love the gypsy cob or vanner or whatever one prefers to call it.

Trooper J has always been my favourite and even more today for standing up to the tourists as did the other trooper - let’s hope all the other timid guards take note

John you must try harder to wind the tourists up 😂 Love it! It makes me laugh when you give them names and where they're from 😂😂

You said it all John, serves her right being told off, she was rude as… not only to the trooper, but to the lady getting her photo done as well, total disregard for anyone but herself, high five John!. Good to see the new signs, if only people could adhere to its meaning, how would tourists like it, that 50 plus would run their hands over their face!, bet your bottom Dollar they would not tolerate it for long before they smack away the annoying disrespectful hands!

It was an enjoyable video to watch as the first 2 troopers were doing an excellent informing the guesses not to touch, feed horse or to be close to the horses. Well Done!

Children need to hear “no” from time to time. Sometimes the answer is no. ❤️ PS. Your comments make me laugh. The one about the small horse in a small French oven was so funny to me. When I was in Paris, I was surprised to find horse meat on many menus!

Saw Karen on the Right side for about 40 seconds and she kept backing up towards the horse. Then 2 minutes later she's on the Left side TOUCHING THE HORSE! She had every intention of getting her way. Hope they arrested her

Those police horses are stunning! The one on the left was a clydesdale and the long hairy part on the legs is called "the feathers" and George the coloured one looked like a big traditional cob with his mane hogged off and also he has had his feathers removed too.He was very handsome indeed ! My favourite police horse so far in your videos as I also have a traditional cob.

I think you are correct about the guards.Whitehall used to contain King Charles I palace. Buckingham Palace came around the 1700s.

The Banqueting House is the only surviving part of Whitehall Palace, which was once Europe's largest royal residence and the center of English royal power for 168 years. The palace was created by Cardinal Wolsey as his central London residence and was later expanded by Henry VIII after 1530. It was the site of many important events in English history, including the execution of Charles I, the Glorious Revolution, and the succession of William III and Mary II to the throne in 1689-90. The residential portion of the palace was razed to the ground and destroyed by fire in 1698 - Today, only small parts of the palace remain, including the somewhat modified Banqueting House and parts now within the 19th century building at 70 Whitehall, adjacent to Downing Street, occupied by the Cabinet Office. Buckingham Palace was originally built in 1703 as a townhouse for the Duke of Buckingham by English architect William Winde. It was originally called Buckingham House. The palace has undergone many changes and expansions over the years and has its own unique history - 🙂
