This works great 👍 thanks because there is not much information on this technique and it works perfectly it will save me a lot of money thank you very much producing mugs❤ everyone doing mugs I recommend this method will help you every time 352 Fahrenheit is 173 Celsius put the mug in from cold centralise the mug once you get to 352 Fahrenheit press the set button let the mug heat up to 352 leave for 15 seconds take it out on the beep I recommend letting the mug cool down for around 2 to 4 minutes just to handle its tricky 😂

I thought you had to preheat the mug press before you put in the mug. If I am understanding correctly, the first press you have it in there while it preheats, then once it's ready you slide it down and repress for an additional 30 seconds? Thanks for the video!

Hi! Nice mug! I just wonder how you can make the colors vibrant? Mine is a bit grainy and I really wonder why. I'm not sure if it is the picture I'm using, the printer or the mug press technique? I hope you can help me 🙂
@DIGITALDREAMSSUBLIMATIONTIPS3 жыл бұрын
Hello ! I am glad you liked it 😊 Actually for getting vibrant colors , the Design intended to be printed should be of high quality with accurate colors & the printer printing it should be in prefect condition, with no head clogging issues. Then the mug has to be baked at perfect temperature for the correct time ⏲️ & temperature as shown in this Video. Then you can surely get good professional results you seek....best of luck 👍😊

also put in water bath immediately to stop ink from spreading
@buddysmith70803 жыл бұрын
Never put it in water, it can create micro cracks. Putting it front of a fan works much better.
@bobs50513 жыл бұрын
@@buddysmith7080 i use room temperature water and have never noticed a problem. if you dont cool it off ink will keep spreading causing blurry text. i did hear someone talk about using a fan to cool them off, but i typically do 130 mugs on-site at golf outings and fan wouldnt work for me

that's great. using a mug with a small white block is the training wheels of mug pressing. the typical problem is pressure along the top or bottom edge but that's not possible with this style mug so its pretty irrelevant to that issue. i can also see your black doesn't match the black around the white box. if someone wants to press their own full mug design from handle to handle this method won't work.
@bobs50513 жыл бұрын
that is very difficult to match the black ink to the black on the mug

You could have saved a lot of ink if you had only created a PNG image with the text and the design. You could have removed the black background. At the end, that black part won't be noticed.
@TheAbrumfield4 жыл бұрын
I don’t think you understand how sublimation works.
@J0Sant0s4 жыл бұрын
@@TheAbrumfield I know the vinyl isn't transparent, so you have to add black no matter what, but although our process requires a little bit of extra work the end result is pretty decent and we save a lot of ink in the process.
