here here man. I'm in that situation now and I've found American Spirits to be my favorite find of my daily cigarette hunt. I've also come to like a cigarette called raison I think it's french but really good flavored taste completely different from the fig/black pepper like taste of the blacks but equally good. There also a Chinese shop where I find Chinese imports (never taisan black) which fulfills some of my overseas nostalgia. Marlboroughs are my staple that make for a great smoke after sitting out a while. I've found newports to be a hit or miss but mostly terrible after sitting out.

i broke a few AS blacks and I rolled it up in a hemp wrap like a blunt and it was actually smooth since i packed the sh!t outta it so it would temper the smoke and be smoother, burned for 20 minutes like a mini cigar, you should try a super fat and wide perique tobacco cigarette that you rolled yourself, just really pack towards the bottom to smoothen the smoke out

I quit smoking after 18 years. Well I replaced it with pouches for a while and then vaping and weed and cigars and more. But when I worked at a convenience store we had like every cigarette brand but we only sold the few popular ones. So the rest sat there for years and every once in a while someone would buy them. So I was like damn do they go bad? Like they were made, then got to the store a bit later, then sat forever, then finally someone bought them, how stale or bad must they have been? I counted the same packs for over two years. I smoked Marlboro reds, lights, lucky strikes, blue 72's, camel wides, Al capone's, Newports, Virginia slims when I was broke and that was all I could find at the old folks home, Time's, Benson hedges, American spirit, and there were like ten other kinds I can't remember. The pouches were ok but after a while started burning when I put them in and had white lumps on my gums,
